Notes: First time Disney cruisers. Myself, husband, and our 2 year old (just turned 2 in Jan). Easy check in at 11:30 in terminal. Boarded by noon ish. Went straight to eat in Cabanas and to Nemo's Reef. Our son loved it and we had to tear him away so that we could rest up in our stateroom 9604. Waited in hallway by stairs to get into our stateroom for about 10 min (hallways were roped off)...wouldn't let anyone in until 1:30 pm exactly. We went to our room, which was an awesome size for us. Our bags hadn't arrived, but they started arriving outside of our door one by one over the next hour or so (we had 4 bags). Unpacked our liquor and put in fridge and ordered room service. We enjoyed our verandah the whole stay. The staff was excellent and the room was very quiet. I wished I could have slept with the verandah door open, but it became too breezy some nights. Tip: Do not wait until the last night to go to the gift shop or you will be surrounded by 1000 other people who waited the night before to go to the gift shop. We went on the 3 day Bahamas cruise and loved Castaway Cay. We went early, which was the best time. Because we went early, when we got back to the ship we dropped our son off at the nursery and went on the Aquaduck twice...could have went several more times if we wanted to because of the short line. We also were surprised that no where was crowed...not Cabanas, not the elevators, not the pools. We used the nursery 3 times on the cruise. Only thing I regret was that 8:15 dinner was too late with a little one...he was very grumpy during dinner, but he loved their mac n cheese. Easy de-embarkation morning. Also, husband loved that the Disney theme isn't shoved down your throat. We have booked another cruise for next year on 9th deck but aft cabin. Can't wait!
