Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 9648

Notes: Great quiet room near the aft elevators. Convenient to food. 2 flights of stairs up to Cabanas, elevator down to Animators Palate and Royal Court. Getting to Enchanted Garden was a little tricky the first time as the aft elevators don't go to deck 2. We had to go forward to use the midship elevators. Tip: if you need to do laundry it is all the way forward on deck 9 which is quite a hike. Best bet is to go down to deck 8 port side. It is MUCH closer!

Notes: As you'd expect, the room was impeccably clean and a good size. It's on the starboard side so you'll see the Castaway Cay beaches when docked. The sun rises on the port side when heading south, so if you want to see those, consider the other side of the ship. This room has a pipe on the veranda that had water run through it quietly and loudly during the trip. I thought it was plumbing pipe, but was relieved during a rainstorm to discover it was a drain pipe from the pool deck. Overall a good room.

Notes: Excellent location. Quiet, very close to the elevators and easy access to dining. There was never a big wait to use the aft elevators and in most cases no wait at all. This was one of the best cabins we've had in nine cruises. We will book this cabin again in the future.
