Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 9652

Notes: Excellent room! It is located right next to the aft staircase and elevators but noise was not a problem at all. 2 decks below Cabanas so it provided easy (and quick) access to pick up breakfast or lunch. The view from the verandah was minimally obstructed and provides a great view at Castaway Cay! For a family of 3, there was plenty of room and we could have easily accommodated another child with room to spare. The only noise I ever noticed to be an issue was docking at Port Canaveral on the last day. There were a lot of vibrations while the ship was backing in. Other than that, it was not noticeable that you were at the aft of the ship. I was able to feel much more movement while on lower decks and forward on the ship but it was smooth sailing in this room. We would absolutely book this same room again on a future cruise.

Notes: Across from aft stairs but no noise from that area. Greatroom. No noiseor vibrations of concern for us. Very convient to get to all decks being close to stairs/elevators. Quick to cabanas. Great verandah not a lot of obstruction at all.

The view was not really obstructed and i like it had a clear wall instead of a white wall. Liked it so much we got the same room just across the hall for our next cruise.

Notes: Overall we liked this room. Being in a 7A with the slightly obstructed view was a great value to us, as the obstruction was not a big deal, you could still see perfectly fine off of the balcony, and we saved about $750 for a family of 4 vs. what the 5A next door would have cost. I would definitely book a Category 7A again for that reason. I did not like the fact that this room opened directly to the public hallway and stairs. As another reviewer noted, there is a MidShip Detective Agency screen directly outside of the room so there were always people out there morning and night (until midnight). Not that noisy with the door closed but you could hear it and you had to be careful when opening the door! But being right by the stairs was very convenient - every morning one of us went up to Cabanas (easy, 2 flights directly up) and brought food down for breakfast. Much more convenient than fighting the crowds for a table up there. If I booked another 7A on the Fantasy I think I would prefer Deck 7, Starboard Aft, because the room is slightly down the hall from the stairs, and also it is more in the middle in terms of decks so never more than a few flights up or down to everything.

Notes: Plus was that it was right by the aft elevator and you could walk right up tp Cabanas for food. Also, once your cabin door was closed, outside noise was very minimal . I was very impressed by this as there was heavy foot traffic outside our door due to the elevators and a detective station being right there. The verandah is partially blocked and the only time that is an issue is when there are more than two people on the verandah. When the ship docked and left the dock, there was definately some vibrations. However, the vibrations were short and did not really interfere with the enjoyment of the room. Would defintely stay in this room again.

Notes: Room condition was excellent. Room location not so much. Door opened directly to common area at aft elevators and many times, someone in our family was in varying states of undress when the door opened and people were looking in :(. Also, the detective agency stop was right outside of our door and it was very noisy. Granted it was a full cruise but still- the noise was every night and quite annoying. The elevators are convenient for most dining options but to get to enchanted garden you have to walk to the midship elevators or stop at 3, walk to midship then walk down a deck. Also, the proximity to cabanas was great (2 decks up) but did you know you had to walk through cabanas to get to the pool from the aft location? Overall, not my favorite room location - go 1-2 doors either direction and the noise issue will go away. My sister was next door and never heard a thing.

Notes: We loved this room for the 3 of us. There is a couch bed, pull down bed and queen bed. Loved the verandah and barely noticed the corner obstruction. Never heard noise from the elevator and very convenient to deck 11.

Notes: We booked this "obstructed" view to save money on the veranda. One thing I will note, it was NOT obstructed at all! We LOVED this room. So close to the elevators only 2 down from cabanas and the pool, it was a perfect location. The elevators took us straight down to all the dining options. I would book this again. Plus a GREAT view of Castaway Cay. Room Steward Shaun was only "So-So", but that's ok this ship was outstanding. Would book again!

Notes: Excellent view on this navigator's verandah deck. This room holds 4 people. Located directly beside the stairs & elevators. Close to Cabanas, pools, hot tubs ect: This room overlooks Castaway Cay while docked. Highly recommend this room.
