Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9656 Condition: 4
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/10/15

Notes: This stateroom was clean and convenient to Cabanas and the pool (two floors up) and Animators Palate and bars (a few floors down.) We were also tucked near the back corner, so the hall was quiet without a lot of traffic. The room features a murphy bed, not a bunk bed, which seemed to give us extra counter and storage space (which is inaccessible when the bed is down.) While the porthole window is large, the window seat seems smaller than rooms we have had in the past. You could still sit in it, but it wasn't as wide as I remember a previous stateroom being (or maybe parts of me are just wider than I remember...) The view was unobstructed if looking straight out, but views were partially blocked from the metal beams supporting Cabanas if trying to look to the side. Great view of Castaway Cay from the room.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9656 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 08/21/15

Notes: We booked this room and the connecting room next door, 9654. The rooms were clean and the kids loved the large port hole window. Great view of Castaway Cay while docked. Some vibration while docking but no big deal. Both rooms had the Murphy bed which pulled down from the wall right next to the window. Neither room had the upper bunk. Both rooms only sleep four. Great location near the aft elevators. No noise from the stairs or elevators. Great rooms.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9656 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 03/16/13

Notes: This room is very close to Aft elevators which is convenient. The vibration the first night was alot but it lessoned the rest of the days but was still present. If vibration is not a problem then you should be alright. Two decks up dropped you right off in Cabana's. Deck 4 dropped you off in the bar district which for us was not appealing with younger children but very convenient for adults who enjoy this area. Deck 3 drops you off at Animators Palate which is nice for dining those evenings. For us everything we do is mid-ship so we had a lot of walking most days for photos and character interactions. The port hole is HUGE and the room is a terrific size. We had the connecting room 9654 and with both rooms it was awesome! Love the round shower and the pull down shower head or rain shower option.
