Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue
This slow moving, dark ride is fun for all ages.
Your taxi ride through Mostropolis is interrupted by breaking news…”A child is loose in Monstropolis!”.
Take a ride through the city, where you see various scenes from the movie including Harry Hausen’s restaurant and watch as Mike and Sulley try to return Boo to her home. Before exiting the ride you get one last personalized goodbye from the grouchy Roz.
Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT!
Join Rocket the racoon as he attempts to rescue the remaining Guardians of the Galaxy from The Collector's Fortress.
Your visit starts with a walk through The Collector's gallery, where you'll find treasures from across the galaxy. Keep a sharp eye out for famliar items.
After receiving clearance, guests will visit The Collector's private office, then head through the warehouse to a gantry lift where they'll get a look at The Collector's prized possessions...the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, there's never been a prison that could hold Rocket, so you never know what could happen.
This exciting attraction features 6 random profiles, each set to music inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.
Disney Animation (Opened February 2001)
The Disney Animation attraction offers a fascinating insight into the world of animation with several exhibits to visit, each offering a unique experience:
The Animation Courtyard: The lobby of the Animation building features large screens with clips and music from your favorite Disney animated features.
Animation Academy : Join a Disney artist and learn the secrets of how to draw a classic Disney character.
Sorcerer’s Workshop : For hands-on fun, this is the place to go. As you enter, you can try your hand at creating your own animation. Next you’ll enter the Beast’s Library. Prominently displayed on a shelf is the glass-encased Enchanted Rose. As the petals fall, wait and watch the sequence of events that follow. In the library, you can take a personality test, conducted by Lumiere and Cogsworth, to see which character you resemble. You may discover that there’s a bit of a Disney villain lurking within.
Character Close-Up: Meet Anna, Elsa and their friends from the movie Frozen.
Turtle Talk with Crush: This interactive show with everybody’s favorite turtle from Finding Nemo, who appears on the screen to look at all “the humans in the human tank”. Through some amazing technology, Crush is able to interact with the children in the audience.
Mickey's PhilharMagic at Sunset Showcase Theater (opened February 2001, new name April 2016, new show April 2019)
This 3D movie musical features Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other favorite Disney characters. The popular attraction has been featured at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World since 2003, and in 2019 it was brought out west.
"As Donald prepares the orchestra for Mickey, he comes across the conductor’s baton and Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat. A little magic goes a long way and proceedings go awry! Donald is unexpectedly plunged into a 3D dream world and you’re taken along for the ride. The experience will sweep you away into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences — from Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid to Peter Pan and Aladdin."
Join characters from Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Doc McStuffins, Vamprina, and The Lion Guard as the DJs keep the party going.
The audience is invited to sit on the floor. Kids can join in and sing and dance along with familiar tunes from the Disney Channel pre-school lineup.
Located opposite Disney Junior, this Art Deco themed shop features a rotating selection of merchandise.
Located adjacent to Disney Animation (you can exit the attraction via), this shop features Disney collectibles, animation cels, limited edition prints, books, tapes, DVDs, and other souvenirs. The fun décor is worth a visit. On the ceiling are sketches with the characters literally falling “off the page.”
This small outdoor store features hats and souvenirs, plus other seasonal merchandise.
Located at the exit to Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT!, this shop features Marvel gear, plus fun retro merchandise.
