The Disneyland Resort in Southern California goes all out for their 'Halloween Time' celebration!
When entering Disneyland Park, you will be greeted with by the famous ‘Mickey Planter’ as it’s transformed into a canvas of pumpkins and even Mickey is wearing a mask for the celebration. You'll see oversized pumpkin versions of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy on display.
In Town Square there's the 12-foot high Mickey ‘jack-o-lantern’ complete with pumpkin ears. Main Street U.S.A. also features over 300 carved pumpkins on display in the shop windows. Colorful orange and yellow bunting will adorn the Victorian architecture. Surrounding the ‘Partners’ statue of Walt and Mickey will be pumpkins inspired by Disney characters.
The Haunted Mansion has been transformed into a Tim Burton's ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme. If you’ve never seen Haunted Mansion Holiday, make sure to include it in your plans this holiday season. You won’t be sorry!

The characters will have a different look when they join in the spirit of the season and appear in their Halloween costumes and the Disney Villains will be out in full force at both parks to celebrate their favorite time of year.
At California Adventure, Buena Vista Street is covered with bats and the Headless Horseman sits in Carthay Circle. In Cars Land, the residents of Radiator Springs are in the Haul-O-Ween spirit and two attractions have some fun new songs for the season. At night, Monsters After Dark take over Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT!
In 2019, the after-hours Halloween party moved to California Adventure and is hosted by Oogie Boogie. Oogie Boogie Bash features its own Halloween version of World of Color!

Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland park
Mickey's Halloween Party will not be held in 2019. Instead, Disney California Adventure will be hosting the new Oogie Boogie Bash
Halloween Screams Fireworks Spectacular
With the Halloween Party moving to California Adventure in 2019, Halloween Screams will now be available to all guests. Halloween Screams features Jack Skellington as the show's host who is joined by other classic Disney Villains. Flames, projections, music, and on some nights fireworks, all come together to make this a don't-miss show. Halloween Screams will be presented most nights during Halloween Time.
The Haunted Mansion has been transformed into a Tim Burton's ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme. If you’ve never seen Haunted Mansion Holiday, make sure to include it in your plans this holiday season, you won’t be sorry!
Each year, the house is a bit different, including the annual gingerbread house in the ballroom scene. Disneyland bakers work several weeks on the custom-made design.

During Halloween Time, Space Mountain is transformed into Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy! Move through space and experience surprises around every corner. The spooky special sound track and sound effects add to this must-do for the Halloween season!
Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy will not be presented in 2019.

Special Halloween Treats will be available throughout the park. Goodies available include Halloween Carmel Apples, Pumpkin Muffins topped with Cream, Mickey Halloween Cookies, Hot Carmel Apple Cider and Pumpkin Cheesecake! You can also find exclusive Haunted Mansion treats at The French Market and Cafe Orleans! If you have a taste for popcorn, Outdoor Vendor's will be selling a special Haunted Mansion Holiday Bucket and Halloween Scoop. This is not the time to start your diet!
Visit Zocalo Park in Frontierland for the colorful display honoring Dia de los Muertos. You'll find traditional marigolds and papel picado, plus ofrenda, calaveras, and a figure of La Catrina. Zocalo Park is located near Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.
Disney California Adventure is also getting into the Halloween ‘spirit’ once again this year!
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party
Oogie Boogie Bash will not be held in 2020.
This new after hours party, replacing Mickey's Halloween Party, will be held in Disney California Adventure on 20 select nights between September 17 and October 31, 2019. Ticket prices start at $100 for Annual Passholders or $110 for the general public and go up to $145.

The residents of Radiator Springs have decorated the town...and themselves...for Haul-O-Ween.
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree will become Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters will turn into Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween.
Even the shops and restaurants will get into the fun with Fillmore's Jack-Oil Lanterns, Flo's Spider Car and Witchy Miss Lizzie's.
Inspired by Disney-Pixar's Coco, Plaza de la Familia will take over the Paradise Gardens area and will feature Mexican food, music, and the traditions of Dia de Los Muertos.
"A Musical Celebration of Coco" will feature storytellers and original songs from Coco performed by folkloric dancers, the Mariachi Divas, and a singing host, plus a Miguel marionette. In addition, other authentic Mariachi musicians will take the Paradise Gardens Bandstand stage throughout the day.
Paradise Gardens will also feature an interactive Tree of Life photo location and Paradise Garden Grill will feature Mexican food.

Guardians of the Galaxy-Monsters After Dark
Each evening after the sun sets, Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT! becomes Guardians of the Galaxy-Monsters After Dark. The new adventure continues the story from Mission: BREAKOUT! Rocket has helped the Guardians escape, but Groot has been left behind. It's your job to distract all of the other creatures that have been released, so that Rocket can return and rescue Groot. Guardians of the Galaxy composer Tyler Bates even composed a new song for the Halloween overlay!
The Halloween Time fun even extends to the hotels of the Disneyland Resort!
In the lobby of the Grand Californian Hotel sits a huge candy pumpkin carved into the shape of Oogie Boogie! Pastry chefs used 260 pounds of powdered sugar, 380 eggs, 220 pounds of rice cereal, 95 pounds of marshmallow, 80 pounds of butter, 200 pounds of chocolate, and 80 pounds of fondant to build the spooky display.
The lobbies of the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel are decorated as well. In fact, Ursula has taken over the lobby of the Paradise Pier Hotel!
Catch the sounds of a capella performers the Skeletones and the Cryptix as they perform throughout the three hotels.
At Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel, their Afternoon Tea becomes Haunted Mansion 50th Anniversary Tea, featuring a sinfully delicious spread.
Look for special holiday treats at a holiday cart in the lobby of the Grand Californian, including Halloween-inspired Mickey-shaped cookies, whoopie pies, cake pops, pretzel rods, pumpkin pound cake, and Witch Finger Cookies. At the Coffee House in the Disneyland Hotel, grab a chocolate bat cookie. The Surfside Lounge at the Paradise Pier Hotel is pouring pumpkin spice lattes throughout the season.
Guests staying at the three hotels are invited to enjoy trick-or-treat festivities on select afternoons. Guests should contact Guests Services to sign up and grab a map. While there, check for other activities, such as coloring pages, mask decorating, and pirate hat making kits. Cookie decorating kits are available for a fee.
Look for Scareolers roaming Downtown Disney harmonizing to favorites like, "I Put a Spell on You" and "Grim Grinning Ghosts."

Knott's Scary Farm is a chilling Halloween experience that puts you right in the middle of your worst nightmare, or is it? Billed as the oldest, one of the biggest and the ‘scariest’, is not for the weak at heart or younger children. Little spooks, goblins and princesses will enjoy ‘Camp Spooky Halloween Treasure Hunt’ on weekend through October. Crafts, attractions and fun are offered for the smaller children in your family.
