Orlando Airport Travel Tips

NOTE: The carrying of liquids is restricted. Please check the Transportation Safetey Administration's website for the permitted/prohibited items before you pack.

1. Passengers are urged to check with their air carriers regarding the level of service and flight schedules at these airports. Allow for sufficient time to go thru security

2. Arrive at the airport a minimum of two hours prior to departure

3. Bring photo identification and one of the following documents: electronic ticket receipt/itinerary, travel agency itinerary, Airline itinerary card, boarding document, or a paper ticket for same-day travel. If you booked online, you may also be able to print out your boarding pass at the airport.

4. If you do not have any of the documents listed above, you must go to the ticket counter before proceeding through the security checkpoint.

5. Anticipate increased passenger and baggage security screenings, therefore passengers are encouraged to minimize baggage, including carry-on baggage.

6. Baggage may be checked at either the ticket counter or curbside at most airports.

7. Additional information may be available from the U.S. Department of Transportation (www.dot.gov) or on your local airport's Web site.

8. NO ONE without a ticket will be allowed beyond the security checkpoint. Provisions will be made for parents who need to meet unaccompanied minors, for disabled persons and persons with special needs who need to be accompanied by healthcare assistants or guardians, and for medical personnel who need to respond to a medical emergency beyond the checkpoint.

10. If you don’t have a bag to check and you have your photo ID and boarding pass, you may proceed through the security checkpoint to the gate.

11. Check the Transportation Security Agency for the most current regulations..
